International Relations

International Relations (IR) refers to the study and management of the relationships between countries, as well as the interactions between different actors on the global stage, including governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including diplomacy, conflict resolution, international law, trade, and global governance. The field seeks to understand how states and non-state actors behave, how they interact with one another, and the impact of those interactions on international peace, security, and development. International Relations also examines power dynamics, alliances, and the influence of historical events on current global affairs. Scholars in this field often analyze various theories, such as realism, liberalism, and constructivism, to explain and predict behaviors and outcomes in the international system.
