Government

Government is the system or group of people governing an organized community, generally a state. It encompasses the institutions, processes, and rules through which authority is exercised and decisions are made regarding the administration, regulation, and management of societal affairs. Government can take various forms, including democracy, monarchy, authoritarianism, and totalitarianism, and it operates at multiple levels, such as local, regional, and national. Its primary functions include creating laws, enforcing rules, collecting taxes, providing public services, and ensuring national security. The legitimacy and performance of government are often evaluated based on factors such as transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of the population.
