Activism

Activism is the practice of advocating for social, political, environmental, or economic change. It involves taking action to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental transformation. Activism can take many forms, including protests, campaigns, lobbying, community organizing, and public outreach. Activists work to raise awareness about issues, influence public opinion, and effect change in laws and policies. The goals of activism can vary widely, ranging from civil rights, environmental justice, and gender equality to anti-poverty efforts and political reform. At its core, activism is driven by a desire to address injustices and promote collective well-being by mobilizing individuals and communities towards a common cause.
